Procedure:
Prepare the caustic soda solution by dissolving 1kg of
caustic soda in 4.5litres of water, confirm that it was a density of 127kg/m3.
Allow the solution to stand and blend for at least three days. Please ensure that
you leave them to stand to stand for this time or even more (the longer the
better), to avoid your soap being corrosive the users’ skin and cloths.
1.
Add the soda ash to the caustic soda solution
and stirring vigorously until well blended.
2.
Add all the colorant to the solution and
continue stirring
3.
Add all the P.K.O into the mixer and continue
stirring vigorously in a
clockwise direction only for some time.
4.
Add the forming agent and silicate and continue
stirring
5.
Add the fragment and pour into mould and allow
solidification for 24 hours
6.
Stamp, shape and package and you are ready for
market.
Production of Powdery Detergent
Equipment:
same as in the production of laundry soap drier and pulverizer (mesh net)
Raw Material Quantity
p.k.o or fatty acid 4
litres
caustic soda 1 kg
soda ash 3
kg
hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) ¼
litres
ammonium 120
mls
industrial salt (Na2CO3) ¼
cup
colourant to
taste
perfume to
taste
foaming Agent 250
mls
sulphoric acid 30
mls
procedure
1.
Prepare the caustic soda solution as described
in the production of laundry soap and ensure that the density is at stated
value. Allow to stand for three day 72 hours) minimum. You can all it to stand
for more that 3 days if you want but should not use when it is not up to 3 days
to. The reason why some powerdery soap is corrosive is because the caustic soda
not blend long enough in water before starting the process
2.
Add the soda ash to the caustic soda solution
and stir until uniformly blended
3.
Add the colorant to the solution and pour
the p.k. o into the mixer and while
stirring vigorously
(only in clockwise direction ) till it blends well
4.
Add the
ammonium, industrial salt, fuming agent, sulphoric, perfume and finally
hydrogen peroxide into the mixture while stirring vigorously .
5.
Pour into a dryer for drying or spread under the
sun to dry
6.
After drying pulverize or grate and then sieve
7.
Package into sachets for sales
